Foundation Group Meetings
We held a useful site tour and meet and greet on Sunday with thirteen people in attendance. We did a short walk around the site and I explained some of the background and context to Orchard Park. On the tour I pointed out some of the planning issues as well as some of the site benefits/features. Following the tour we held a meet and greet session where further information was provided on the timescale and work that will take place over the next few months.
Cambridge City Councilor Neil McGovern was in attendance and he was able to answer some key questions in terms of Cambridge City’s support and interest in the project.
A Foundation Group has been set up with whom my colleague Stephen Hill and I are working with to discuss and agree some key issues such as defining what the scheme is, what is its vision, what is a sustainable community for example.
